"The Cursed Kingdom of Oz" arrives this summer

The fifth novel in the ongoing New Oz Chronicles is called "The Cursed Kingdom of Oz," and the writing phase is nearly complete! 

Set simultaneously to the events of "Prisoners of Oz," a trio of animal adventurers set out on a mission to investigate the strange silence of the kingdom of Pumperdink in the far north of the Gillikin country, only to find that the road leading there is littered with remnants of abandoned farmsteads and deserted towns.

Meanwhile, a strange gathering of sentient pumpkin walkers begin stalking the group in the shadows, threatening to stop their journey for some diabolical purpose.

What will the Elegant Elephant, the Hungry Tiger and the Golden Gorilla discover along the way? Will they make it to their destination intact? What does a soldier made of tin offer when he begins to tag along? And who is conjuring a series of mysterious violent storms at the tower of amethyst in the mountains? All of these matters converge as the plot takes them to the seat of an apparent curse, where they must unravel it before the kingdom of Pumperdink itself literally crumbles under the weight of its magical corruption.
